The Chamber's June 2008 Monthly Massachusetts Jobs Update, released earlier this week, shows that Massachusetts added 2,900 jobs last month.
Other key findings include:
- Massachusetts posted 0.4% job growth over the last 12 months
- Three of 12 regions added jobs over the last 12 months
- State remains 88,700 jobs below previous peak
- State health care & social assistance jobs up 2.5% last 12 months; slightly trailed national average and ranked 21st among states
