Yesterday, Deborah Dunsire, president & CEO of Millennium: The Takeda Oncology Company, addressed nearly 160 Chamber members at the Life Sciences Forum. With an outstanding ability to connect with the audience, Dunsire spoke about the impact of the merger of Millennium and Takeda. She focused on the importance of talented workers in the life sciences field, and the need for stronger K-12 science education. Dunsire also addressed the critical importance of the state’s billion-dollar investment in the life sciences industry given today’s difficult economy.
