Today, Boston Herald business editor Frank Quaratiello got to know a different side of the Chamber president on his latest edition of "Frank Talk." An excerpt from the piece is below:
So, Paul, why don’t you tell us about something people don’t know about you, that you started out wanting to be a veterinarian?
That was my career aspiration. It actually dated back to elementary school, fourth grade. There was a project. A teacher, Miss Fitzgerald, asked us as students to think about what it was you wanted to be when you grew up, and I had always loved animals, had always taken in stray dogs. Occasionally . . . a cat but usually a dog.
I loved animals, I loved dogs and in the fourth grade, came to the momentous decision that I would be a veterinarian and had that in my mind as I went through school, up to high school.Click here to watch the complete interview and read Frank's article in today's Boston Herald.
