Jon Kingsdale of the Commonwealth Connector & Matthew Emmens of Vertex Pharmaceuticals on 'This Week in Business'
Yesterday on ‘This Week in Business,' Jon Kingsdale, executive director of the Commonwealth Health Insurance Connector Authority, joined hosts Paul Guzzi and Mike Nikitas to talk about the recently passed national health care reform bill, and analyze differences between the Massachusetts and federal laws. He discussed the impact that this bill will have on small businesses in the Commonwealth, and the impact that politics had on the road to reform.
In the Briefing Room, Matthew Emmens, CEO of Vertex Pharmaceuticals, gave his perspective on national health care reform, discussed his company’s work on breakthrough drugs, and the benefit of being based in Massachusetts.
