Nobel Laureate Dr. Phillip Sharp discusses impact of Nobel Prize on community.

On the same morning that the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine was awarded to Jack Szostak, a scientist at Massachusetts General Hospital and professor at Harvard Medical School, Nobel Laureate Phillip Sharp joined the Chamber's Life Science Forum.

Dr. Sharp was awarded the same prize in 1993, and spoke to Chamber members about the impact that the Nobel Prize can have on a community or research institution. He also spoke briefly about what Szostak's award meant specifically for MGH and Harvard.
