Chamber to host Best Practices Seminar on corporate wellness

On November 6 the Chamber will host a Best Practices Seminar titled ‘A panel discussion: How does a healthy workforce impact your bottom line?’ This special program will be moderated by Michael Parent, senior vice president of Fitcorp, and will feature three panelists: James Blue, chairman and CEO or Bostonian Group; Helen Durkin, J.D., executive vice president of Public Policy for International Health Racquet & Sportsclub Association; and Tina Wiskow, senior benefits project manager for John Hancock.

This unique Chamber program will explore the importance of corporate wellness initiatives, highlight preventable health risks, and provide information on impacting the bottom line through promoting a healthy workforce. Attendees will also gain insight into proposed legislation that would provide financial incentives for the creation of corporate fitness programs.
