In the ‘Briefing Room’ United States Representative Bill Delahunt (D-MA) and Jon Hurst, president of the Retailers Association of Massachusetts, talk about the push for The Main Street Fairness Act, which aims at ensuring that customers from all retailers -- including internet and catalogues -- are taxed the same way. While retail sales are up nationally, Hurst says August numbers were down twenty percent.
